The fixtures for the next round of the men's sevens series in Hong Kong, including next season's men's and women's qualfiers have been announced.

Hong Kong will play host to four days of action from 6-9 April as the men's tournament and two qualifiers are played out at the Hong Kong Stadium and So Kon Po.

The competition to determine the last core team on next year's HSBC World Rugby Women's Sevens Series will get the action underway on Thursday, 6 April when Colombia take on Papua New Guinea at So Kon Po. The team that joins the series next year will be known after the final of the women's qualifier at the main stadium on Friday evening (GMT +8). Click here for the full schedule. 

As usual at the Hong Kong event, the battle for a place on next season's men's series will see 12 teams face off over the course of the weekend, from 7-9 April. 

Papua New Guinea will take on Uruguay in the first match on Friday, with the pool matches concluding on Saturday morning. The quarter finals will be played on Saturday evening with the semi-finals and finals held on Sunday. Click here for the full schedule. 

With South Africa leading the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series standings, the series resumes at 18.00 on Friday in the Hong Kong Stadium when Australia take on Samoa, before England play invitational side South Korea. The pool matches continue on Saturday, with the knockout stages resuming on Sunday morning and the final at 19.00 on Sunday evening. Click here to view the full schedule.  

With six rounds of the series played already this season, South Africa  lead the standings having appeared in all finals and won four, with England winning the other two. The Blitzboks sit on top with 126 points, 23 points ahead of the English with Fiji, who have won the Hong Kong tournament five times since 2000, currently sitting in third spot with 100 points and New Zealand in fourth place.
