World Rugby review and update the research priorities annually.
The following areas have been identified as research priorities where we are particularly interested to hear from applicants for the 2023 call for funding:
- Concussion
- Injury surveillance and prevention at all levels of the game
- Player welfare research in womens rugby
- Transgender participation
- Anti-doping
- Mental health and substance abuse
- Long-term health consequences of rugby participation
