World Rugby has announced the appointment of Toppan Printing as a Rugby World Cup 2019 tournament supplier.

A print giant in Japan, Toppan will provide its support the tournament's marketing programme through its extensive portfolio of printing services, while also furthering promotion via a range of activations.

World Rugby Chairman Bill Beaumont said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Toppan Printing to the Rugby World Cup commercial programme for the first time as an Official Tournament Supplier of Japan 2019. They are a leading brand, a big supporter of rugby in Japan and are excited about supporting the tournament in their home market.”

The announcement comes as the organising committee reports exceptional ticketing demand following the completion of the team and stadium pack application phase.
