1. Applicable Social Media Platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram

2. Duration
The 2 Years to Go Festival Social Media Hashtag Campaign (the “Campaign”) begins at 18:00 local Japan time (“JST”) on Wednesday, 20 September 2017 and ends at 23:59 JST on Saturday, 4 November 2017.

3. Prizes
30 people will win a limited edition 2 Years to Go Festival rugby ball.

4. How to Enter this Campaign
Upload a Rugby World Cup related photo, video or post to your Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram account with the hashtag, “#RWC2019”.

  • You may post as many times as you like but please refrain from repeatedly posting the same content.
  • Make sure your privacy setting for your posts are set to public before making any posts to Facebook with the designated hashtag. If your posts are not set to public, you will not be eligible for this Campaign.
  • Make sure your Twitter and/or Instagram account is public before making any posts with the designated hashtag. If your account is set to private, you will not be eligible for this Campaign.

 5. Examples of Posts

  • Rugby World Cup 2019 posters that you happen to find or Rugby World Cup 2019 events that are happening around you
  • Memories from the past Rugby World Cup tournaments
  • Your thoughts on and expectations for Rugby World Cup 2019
  • Posts about the Webb Ellis Cup as it makes its way around Japan on the Rugby World Cup 2019 Trophy Roadshow
  • Fans cheering on rugby or the stadium itself
  • Any other submissions that are related to Rugby World Cup is welcome. We are looking forward to receiving your entries.

 6. Prize Drawing and Winner Announcement

  • Winners will be drawn in a fair random draw after the submission period closes.
  • As winners will be notified via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram direct message to the account used to enter the Campaign, please make sure that you follow the Rugby World Cup 2019 official social media accounts.
  • Winners will be notified within 10 days of the end of the submission period via a direct message from the official Rugby World Cup 2019 social media accounts. The winner will be sent a link to fill in a form regarding delivery information. All winners must fill in and submit the form within 7 days of receipt of the message to officially claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes after this period will be forfeited.
  • We will not be responding to any questions regarding the submission methods and the winner selection process.

 7. Prize Delivery

  • The prizes are planned to be mailed out in November 2017; however, delivery may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Prizes will only be delivered domestically within Japan.
  • Winners will not be able to specify the prize, delivery date/time, delivery method nor the delivery company.

8. Important Notes

  • Entrants must agree to the Rugby World Cup 2019 Organising Committee (the “Organising Committee”) Privacy Policy (www.rugbyworldcup.com/privacy-policy) and the Campaign Official Rules. You will not be able to participate in the Campaign if you do not agree to the Privacy Policy and the Official Rules. By participating in this Campaign you are agreeing to the Privacy Policy and the Official Rules.
  • This Campaign is organised by the Organising Committee and is administered by the Campaign offices (the “Office”). The Office reserves the right to modify the Campaign or take any other necessary measures at any time without notice if, in the Office’s sole discretion, any factors could interfere with the proper administration of the Campaign.
  • Entrants must abide by the rules set out by the Office and shall not object to the way that the Campaign is run.
  • We will not take any responsibility for copyright infringement, intellectual property rights of subjects or portrait rights. It will be the responsibility of the entrant to resolve any disputes with a third party and entrants are responsible for covering any fees that arise from such disputes.
  • We will not be responding to any questions regarding the submission methods and the winner selection process.
  • Depending on the operating system on your computer or on the smart phone that you are using, you may not be able to participate in this Campaign.
  • Entrants are responsible for covering internet or communications fees that are incurred as a result of participating in this Campaign at their own cost.
  • Prizes cannot be returned or exchanged due to personal reasons of the entrant.
  • A single entrant can only be drawn once and cannot be drawn multiple times.
  • Organising Committee staff and stakeholders are not eligible to enter.
  • Prizes or any associated rights cannot be transferred to a third party (regardless of whether it is at a cost or at no cost).
  • The Organising Committee reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual at any point in the Campaign period without prior notice who violates the Official Rules of the Campaign, violates the Terms of Use of the respective social media platforms and engages in illegal or unauthorized use of social media platforms (creation of fake accounts, impersonation, creation of multiple accounts, etc.), or engages in any acts that are deemed as inappropriate.

9. Use of Personal Information

Any personal information provided by the entrant when they participate in this campaign will be used solely for the purposes of administering the campaign and prize fulfilment.

10. Limitation of Liabilities

If a dispute is to arise between the entrant and a third party, the entrant will be responsible for resolving such disputes and covering any fees related to the dispute. The Organising Committee will not be held responsible for any disputes involving the entrant and the third party.

11. Indemnity

The Organising Committee have no liability for and shall not be held responsible by entrants and third parties against, any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including but not limited to any losses or damages arising from server disruptions) resulting from the participation in this Campaign. The Organising Committee will have no liability for and shall not be held responsible for any losses or damages arising as a result of the actions taken by the Organising Committee, such as blocking the account of the entrant, in response to any violations of Official Rules by entrants.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This campaign is governed by the law of Japan. Each entrant agrees that any judicial proceedings arising out of or in connection with the campaign shall take place in the Tokyo District Court.
