WORLD RUGBY PLAYER OF THE YEAR and WORLD RUGBY WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Following a stellar year for international rugby, the shortlists for the ultimate accolade have been announced and the voting process is now open.  

Fans, international players, coaches and media all have the opportunity to vote for the players who have excited and inspired with their feats in 2017.

To vote simply click on the arrow below the player images. You can vote for one Women’s Player of the Year and one Men’s Player of the Year only.

Voting is open from 15:00 (GMT) on Monday 13 November to midnight on Sunday 19 November.

Both shortlists were selected by the new star-studded World Rugby Awards panel comprising Rugby World Cup winners Richie McCaw, John Smit, George Gregan, Maggie Alphonsi and former England coach Clive Woodward alongside Brian O’Driscoll, Fabien Galthié and Agustín Pichot.

Once voting has concluded the panel will consider the winners of the prestigious awards which will be presented at the World Rugby Awards at the Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo on 26 November
