Last weekend’s win puts USA top of the series standings, with New Zealand in second place and only five points behind them. Fiji hold third place while England go into this weekend’s action in Vancouver in fourth place.

South Africa are just one point behind England in fifth place and will be looking to topple them for fourth as the teams compete not only to take home the coveted series title, but also secure their place at Tokyo 2020 with the world series acting as principle route for Olympic qualification and the top four at the end of the series gaining automatic qualification.

Pool C kicks off with Australia v Spain followed by New Zealand v France.
