On the eve of the Emirates Airline South Africa Sevens, the second event in the 2009/10 IRB Sevens World Series, all 16 competing nations have declared their squads of 12, with Fiji recalling a star of the past, South Africa losing a key member and USA recalling their 15-a-side captain.

Ten of the 16 squads are unchanged from last weekend in Dubai, while six make changes.

Australia, England, France, Portugal, Russia, Samoa, Scotland, Wales, Zimbabwe and last week's Dubai champions New Zealand are all unchanged.

Fiji's South Africa-based Stormers wing Sireli Naqelevuki has been drafted in by coach Iliesa Tanivula to play on the World Series for the first time in three years. Fiji start the tournament with just 11 players, though, after Seremaia Burotu and Niumaia Rokobuli were forced to drop out through injury.

South Africa have lost another key member of their squad, Ryno Benjamin. Having already lost former skipper Neil Powell, replaced by Marius Schoeman, coach Paul Treu now has to do without Benjamin, who was an integral part of the Boks' win on home soil last year. He has been replaced by debutant Shaun Venter.

USA have lost Mark Bokhoven and captain Jone Naqica, replaced by the country's 15-a-side captain, South Africa-based flank forward Todd Clever, and Zachary Test.

Argentina call up Pedro Garzon and Rafael Parlatore for Martin Miguel Nunez Lasalle and Juan Imhoff.

Kenya draft in Naftali Ogolla Bondo and Andrew Amonde for Sidney Ashioya and Leon Adongo.
