Supporters wishing to attend Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 now have more opportunities to see the best players in the world as additional tickets to the tournament's pool stages have been released.

With exactly 100 days to go until the 12 teams arrive in Ireland to battle it out for the top prize in the women’s game, a limited number of additional tickets for previously sold-out fixtures have been released.

The tournament kicks off on 9 August at the UCD Bowl in Dublin where the pool stages will be played on 9, 13 and 17 August. The semi-finals will be played on 22 August in Kingspan Stadium, Belfast with the final played at the same location four days later.

Excitement is building throughout Ireland as the cup itself has already covered in excess of 8,500km, visiting more than 100 clubs and schools, with many more events to come before the action finally gets underway. Supporters from all 32 counties will get a chance to see the trophy before they travel to Dublin and Belfast to support #WRWC2017 in August.

World Rugby Chairman Bill Beaumont said: “Excitement for Women's Rugby World Cup is really building with just 100 days to go until reigning champions England take on Spain in the first game of the tournament. Tickets are selling very well and it's great that the IRFU can release a few more to ensure that fans can get to see the pinnacle of the women's game in Dublin and Belfast.”

Tournament organisers expect that these additional tickets will soon sell out, too, and are urging those hoping to watch the world’s top female rugby players to snap them up as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.
