Pool B: Hoyland returns for Scotland Sevens

Scotland international Damien Hoyland is the only change to Calum MacRae’s sevens squad for the penultimate round of the 2015-16 World Rugby HSBC Sevens Series in Paris.
 
Hoyland will travel as part of the 12-man squad to make his first appearance on the circuit since the final round of last year’s series, in London.
 
In his eight World Series caps, Hoyland has accumulated 18 tries, five of which came in his last outing at Twickenham, prior to making his test debut in a RWC 2015 warm-up match against Italy last August.

“I'm delighted to welcome Damien back into the squad for Paris," said MacRae. “Last series he was a stand out performer for us, and gained a full international cap off the back of his displays.
 
“He is excited about playing on the World Series again and is high on confidence having just been selected for the national team’s tour to Japan. Damien will add potency to our attack.”

Scotland squad: Scott Riddell, Dougie Fife, Hugh Blake, James Johnstone, Nick McLennan, Mark Robertson, Jamie Farndale, Damien Hoyland, Joe Nayacavou, Scott Wight (captain), James Fleming, Glenn Bryce.

FIJI CALL ON RWC STARS TO BOLSTER SQUAD

Fiji head coach Ben Ryan has named a 17-man squad for the HSBC Paris Sevens bolstered by four names from the world of 15s.

The four players, who all play their rugby in Europe, are Glasgow Warriors second-row Leone Nakarawa, Stade Francais winger Waisea Nayacalevu, Josua Tuisova of Toulon and Montauban's Samisoni Viriviri. Toulon's Semi Kunatani, who has featured at the past two rounds of the series, will also travel to Paris.

Besides the 15s stars, Ryan has also included the same 12 players who took Fiji to their third Cup win of the series in Hong Kong, where they beat New Zealand 21-7. 

Fiji are currently top of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series standings, eight points ahead of South Africa.
